What’s an estimate of how much these 2 room-make-over items would cost?
I’m make-ing over my bedroom a bit. What we are going to do is, because of the small size, putting the TV in the unused closet (as opposed to against a wall in the room). We’d like the cabinet to fill the entire space of the closet, except for an inch or so on each side so that the cabinet doors can slide against the sides of the cabinet when the cabinet is open. The TV cabinet should either have 2 or 4 doors. The top section of the cabinet will be a large open space in which we’ll put the TV, and the bottom portion will have 3 shelves in it for DVD/such storage. Anyway, we are also going to convert my bed into a daybed so that viewing the TV will be very comfortable. We don’t need the daybed railing unless necessary. Here’s the list of what we’ll need:
Custom TV cabinet (w = 45″, h = 78″, d = 24″)
Daybed cushions (enough to cover the wall of 83″ and possibly the head/foot board things of 42″)
A custom cabinet could really up the price, are you sure that there is nothing that you could use that is more off the peg. Customising anything adds a lot to the price.

The daybed idea sounds great, but again, if I were you I would search for ready made cushions to fit. Good Luck!
